The path that holds me.

If you’re here, perhaps something in you is seeking.
A deeper breath, steadier ground or a way back to yourself.

This isn’t a story about titles or timelines. It’s a remembering.

Hi, I’m Silvana I. Vanfretti, a Guatemalan-Italian yoga and wellness facilitator and devotee of the sacred. For the last 10+ years, I’ve walked this path of practice by studying, teaching and listening. I’ve taught thousands of classes, as well as many retreats and trainings across the world and online. Yoga has been both a mirror and a refuge, asking me again and again to show up tenderly, honestly with devotion and discipline.

My practice is woven from many threads: Creative and Progressive Vinyasa, Rocket Yoga, nervous-system-based breathwork, somatic awareness, functional mobility, energy healing, meditation, and spiritual inquiry. I currently teach in Antigua Guatemala at Shakti Shala, and I share my work internationally through The Kula, an online studio, and as part of the teaching team at The Collective School of Yoga.

I believe yoga is about making space to feel, breathe and to remember. Whether I’m guiding movement, stillness or deep rest, my intention is to hold space that welcomes your wholeness.

“Dive into the heart of the breath. It is a portal to the deepest aliveness.
Inhale the presence of what you love.
Exhale into the vastness of Being.”

The Radiance Sutras

That is the essence of my offerings: presence that connects, breath that remembers, movement that unravels.

Along this path, I’ve been humbled and shaped by many teachers:

· In asana and movement, I honor the guidance of Meme Garcia, Nicole Wild, Lauren McKiddy, Steve Pyka, Taylor Hunt and Caro Gómez.
· In functional yoga and mobility, I’ve practiced with Patrick Beach, Carling Harps, and Jason & Lauren Park.
· My understanding of the breath and nervous system has been deeply informed by Robin Rothenberg and James Dowler.
· In energetic healing, somatic and the Mayan tradition, I carry the teachings of Giglia Canessa.
· My heart has been opened by the teachings of Ram Dass, Sadhguru, Parveen Devan, Jahnavi Harrison and Marcy Goldstein who continue to guide my curiosity for yogic philosophy and Sanskrit. · Stoicism and the work of Carl Jung have shaped how I understand the conversation between psyche and soma.
· In anatomy and neuro yoga, I’ve learned from Gil Medley, Madhav Gramke and Celest Pereira.
· In meditation and inner inquiry, I draw inspiration from the work of Sarah Blondin, Mark Nepo, Yung Pueblo, Deepak Chopra, Manoj Diaz, Joe Dispenza, and others whose words awaken remembrance.
· And for facial yoga and lymphatic drainage, I’ve been guided by Carolina Jarinova.

Each of them has helped me find new ways to see, to feel and to serve.

When I’m not teaching, I work as a conscious brand strategist, helping purpose-led entrepreneurs, nonprofits, and wellness creatives bring their vision to life. I believe creation is ceremony. That aesthetics can carry soul. That your work deserves to be both beautiful and true.

And I believe that well-being is not a destination.
It’s a daily practice.
A sacred return to who we are when we’re not performing.

If something in you feels the pull to connect whether for a retreat, collaboration, private session. I welcome invitations from studios, retreat centers and projects that feel rooted, intentional and aligned. And if you’re just here to listen, witness, or say hi, gracias. I’m glad you’re here.

Brilla. Vibra. Bonito.
Con amor,
Silvana
